The GSP Developers Guild will begin a study group for the MCTS 70-536 certification 4/9/09. This study group will help prepare you for the 70-536 exam. Even if you don't plan on getting your MCTS certification, this may be a great opportunity for you to learn more about developing .NETapplications.
The meetings will be held weekly on Thursday nights (except 4/23) at 6PM at CSI located at 900 East Main Street, Suite T. You can find a map here. We will cover approximately 100 pages per week.
Attendees are expected to have read the material in advance and be prepared to discuss. These meetings will be a good opportunity to find out if you understood the material and to get your questions answered.
We will be using the "MCTS Self-Paced Training Kit (Exam 70-536): Microsoft® .NET Framework Application Development Foundation, Second edition (Hardcover)" by Microsoft Press. I checked the prices on several sites including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Bookpool. Amazon.com had the book in stock at the best price.
